Where do you even begin with something as special as this? It’s the new, 1 of 1, Aston Martin Victor. Honestly, it looks like a retro, yet futuristic classic. It’s based on the One-77, Aston’s million pound hypercar from 2009, albeit with a revised carbon monocoque chassis. It uses a 7.3 litre V12 up front, mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox and between them is a “bespoke motorsport clutch” for obvious reasons.

The styling here is incredible. It has the roof line of a DB9, the front from an old 70’s Vantage, and the overall look from a 70’s sci-fi action film. Only 1 of these, this very one, will ever be made, but man does it look good. Even the interior is both retro, and high tech. With an open top steering wheel, manual gear stick, and air vents that look like snakes coming to bite you, it really stands out.

The V12 up front, despite producing 836bhp and 606lb ft of torque, is naturally aspirated. No turbos or superchargers in sight. Of course, Cosworth are the reason why. The same people who helped design the engine in the Gordon Murray’s GMA T.50 which while it is a much smaller 4L V12, does produce 690bhp too. Mating that to a good old fashioned manual is quite rare these days, but since this is a one off, it’s not too hard to see why.

Keeping that all on the road is an impressive inboard suspension setup, with semi-visible springs and dampers which are the same ones you’ll find in the track only Aston Martin Vulcan. You’ve also got huge Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes to bring it to a stop, after unleashing all 836 horsepower, along with centre-locking wheels for good measure.

Where this will end up seems to be currently unknown, but I hope it sees some use. It’s a stunning piece of art, capable of demolishing track times too, so we can only hope. I bet it sounds great too.
